The NBA draft is now less than a week away, and the Chicago Tribune has just broke news that the Bulls are looking to package their 16th and 26th overall picks to move up in the selection process.
The Tribune has reported that “several media outlets” have confirmed that one of the teams looking to potentially move down would be the New Jersey Nets, who currently hold the 11th overall selection.
It remains to be seen which player the Bulls could be targeting if they obtain a higher pick, but the smart money is on Duke guard Gerald Henderson. It was previously rumored that the Bulls were interested in the swingman, but Charlotte, sitting at pick No. 12, are also rumored to be very interested in Henderson.
This is not a sure thing by any means, and the Bulls could also be targeting North Carolina forward Tyler Hansbrough, Wake Forest teammates guard Jeff Teague and forward James Johnson, Syracuse guard Jonny Flynn, or Pitt forward DeJuan Blair.
