Colt McCoy says a legendary Cowboys QB reminded him to have fun on the field.
Texas quarterback Colt McCoy was in New York on Tuesday as one of 16 national scholar-athlete finalists chosen by the National Football Foundation. Despite leading the unbeaten Longhorns to a berth in the national championship game and being a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, McCoy told Sporting News’ Bill Eichenberger and other reporters that this season was not without its difficulties.
Q: Was this season everything you thought it would be when you decided to come back for your senior year?
