Robbie Hummel and Purdue are ranked No. 4 nationally despite a dearth of NBA talent.
Purdue fans bothered by assertions their team is not talented enough to win the NCAA championship should no more consider this an insult than it would be to say their uniform colors are black and gold.
This is only marginally a matter of opinion. It’s still in the realm of opinion that Purdue does not include any likely NBA lottery picks, and that will remain so until the current Boilers have completed their careers. And then it will have become fact.
It is a matter of fact that no team has won the title without a lottery pick since Kentucky in 1998.

The parade was complete chaos. I am so grateful the lakers robbed the title though– it was unbelievable being squeezed for so long to troop with them. It was also a good on their dime to pay for the parade. California and particularly LA is in much serious straits financially
